Opening The Dice Game
Step 1.
Download: Choose the correct version for your machine's processor (Intel vs. ARM) and click on the download button accordingly. Wait for the simulator to finish downloading.
Step 2
Drag to the Applications Folder: Once you downloaded the .dmg file, you can simply drag it to the applications folder and you are ready to run it!
Step 3.1
Accessing the simulator: Should you receive the below error pop-up with the message "GDG_mac" Not Opened, click on done
Step 3.2
Accessing the simulator: Go to Settings > Privacy & Security, and scroll down to Allow Applications from. And click on Open Anyway
Step 3.3
Accessing the simulator: When prompted to confirm, click on Open Anyway
Step 3.4
Accessing the simulator: If prompted, confirm your selection with your password or fingerprint.
Step 4
Launch the App: When you open the app from the applications folder, a command prompt or terminal window will pop up, and after a few moments, the model will be loaded into your default browser.
Now you can explore Goldratt's Dice Game!

Activating Your License
Step 1
Start the model and click "Activate license."
Step 2
Enter the email address you used to purchase your license, in the indicated field below:
Step 3
If a valid purchase exists for the email address you entered, you will see the message below on your screen. Simply close the simulator down and restart it. You should now have full access to all features of the Dice Game

License Activation - Troubleshooting
If you encounter the message "This license key seems invalid (License state found as EXPIRED). Please try again." while trying to activate your license for this simulator, please follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.
Step 1
Check Antivirus Protection
Antivirus software can sometimes interfere with the activation of software licenses. Please try the following:
Step 1.1 - Temporarily Disable Antivirus Protection:
Temporarily turn off your antivirus and attempt to activate the license once more. Check your antivirus user guide for how to do this correctly.
Step 1.2 - After turning off the antivirus:
If successful: Great! Proceed to add the simulator as an approved app in your antivirus settings. This prevents future activation issues while keeping your computer protected.
If unsuccessful: Move on to Step 2 for further troubleshooting.
Remember to activate your antivirus protection after trying this troublshooting step.
Explanation
This might work for you because the antivirus software may be preventing the simulator from receiving or downloading the license file during the activation process. When it is disabled, you allow the simulator to "receive/download" your license.
Step 2
Check the Location Where You Unzipped the Simulator
#1 - Unzip Correctly:
When you first unzip the simulator, make sure you do it in the location you want to keep it. Moving the folder after unzipping can cause issues.
#2 - Preferred Location:
It's best to unzip the simulator directly into "My Documents" or a similar location where you plan to access it from.
Explanation
This might work for you because the simulators rely on file paths set during installation. Moving the files to or from different drives, after unzipping can break these paths, causing the simulator to malfunction while trying to "receive/download" your license. Unzipping directly into a permanent location ensures that all file paths remain intact.
